“FINES OF UP TO £3000 PER MONTH FOR MIS-DECLARATIONS”
Construction companies across the West Midlands are being targeted
by HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) who have sent
thousands of letters to contractors and subcontractors
regarding their self employment status. Some of these status enquiries
have led to some construction companies being left with huge
PAYE bills.
To help clarify the position and to explain the new Construction Industry Scheme changes which come into effect on 6th April 2007, we would like to invite you to attend our free seminar which is being held at Ramada Hotel, Penns Lane, Walmley, Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, B76 1LH on Tuesday 13th March, arrival 4:30pm for 5pm, finish 6:30pm with drinks.
At this seminar our expert speaker will provide you with a clear understanding of:
One of the main objectives of the new scheme to be introduced is to ensure that it is the contractor and not the sub-contractor who are required to comply with the new tax obligations. HMRC have stated that compliance with the new scheme will be closely monitored and if businesses do not comply they will be heavily penalised.
As an addition to this agenda we shall also cover a short session looking at Inland Revenue interventions and the new Van Scale Benefit Charges which come into force from April 2007.
The event is free to attend. To confirm your place just complete the form below, or call today on 0121 355 1901. Confirmation of your booking and directions will be sent by return.
