A keen team of Weatherer Bailey Bragg runners will be putting their best feet forward for a very good cause on 31 May.
The team, led by Weatherer Bailey Bragg partner Steve Horsley, will be tackling the 8.5 mile Great Midlands Fun Run through Sutton Coldfield in aid of the Meningitis Trust, with a fundraising target of £1,500.
The charity is a cause close to the hearts of Steve and his wife Deborah, also a partner at Weatherer Bailey Bragg.
Their son Oliver, who is three in April, contracted the less serious form of meningitis at the age of four weeks but went on to make a full recovery.
Steve said: “The Meningitis Trust was a huge source of information to us throughout that time and it feels great to be able to give something back.”
Steve will be joined by friends and colleagues Ross Ashwood, Lewis Orrell, Helen and Craig Reeves, Simon Goodman, Jill, Jeff and William Higgins, Ian Harvey, Jo and Paul Edwards and Paul Varley to tackle the Great Midlands Fun Run course.
Anyone wishing to sponsor the fundraising effort can visit Weatherer Bailey Bragg’s page on the Just Giving website at www.justgiving.com/weathererbaileybragg.
